The Pastoral Care Program is an integral part of the Sanderson Middle School organisation. Students are placed in Pastoral Care Groups (PCGs) managed by a PCG teacher. The PCG teachers are the first contact person for students and parents.
Students will be supported to meet the changing expectations of society. To contribute to the creation of a more productive, sustainable and just society, young people will need a wide and adaptive set of knowledge, skills, behaviours (our values) and dispositions.
PCG provides opportunities for students to experience “affective” growth and connectedness.
Students will develop social, emotion and wellbeing skills as a foundation for personal growth, positive relationships and lifelong learning.
